Brakes – Off, check toe pedal

Undercarraige – Down and locked, three green lights … in these PA28’s the undercarraige is fixed but it it important to build this into the downwind checks if you ever fly an aircraft with retractable undercarraige

Mixture – Rich, you may have leaned it for the flight

Fuel – Pump on, tanks have plenty in, switch to both

Instruments – In the green, vacuum good

Carb Heat – 10 seconds to make sure no carb ice

Hatches – locked and secure

Harness – on and tight

Lights – Landing light on
